Healthy Pet Clinics

The Shamrock Animal Fund is unable to host the Healthy Pet Clinics this spring on Syracuse’s northside. The Onondaga County Health Department offers FREE rabies vaccination clinics at various locations/dates. The county clinics are limited to rabies vaccinations. You will need to go to a local vet or Pet Co.vaccination clinics on Erie Blvd. in Dewitt for your pet to receive Distemper vaccination.

We will miss seeing the Healthy Pet Clinic pet owners & pets this spring. Please keep your Healthy Pet Clinic vaccination records as we hope to hold the clinics again in the future. The Healthy Pet Clinics celebrated its 5th year in the fall of 2015 of serving animals in some of Syracuse’s most impoverished neighborhoods. The Healthy Pet Clinic concept was conceived during meetings of animal helping agencies. The Healthy Pet Clinics are administered exclusively by volunteers.

Pet owners need to bring documentation of financial need. Pet owners should ONLY bring animals in need of vaccinations and other care. Watch slideshow of images from September 2013 Healthy Pet Clinic.
