67 N Reino Rd, Newbury Park, CA
498-7600 Part of the joys of being a new puppy parent is the countless hours spent staring at aisles of pet stores. Much like the Healthy Pet on T.O. Blvd, this Newbury Park version, is also well stocked, with kind staff and a good selection. Healthy pet is awesome! I just recently got a kitten and since I got my kitten, I’ve been going to Healthy pet for his food and whatever else he needs.
My kitten is like my kid and I want him to be taken care with the best I can possibly give him and healthy pet has been a big part of that. I have been going to Healthy Pet and the NP store for 5-6 years very faithfully, enough that the owner recognized me when I would go in for food every couple of months. I love to support the small businesses in town, but I’m afraid I’ve just started using Amazon and the local chain pet stores now because of lousy customer service and petty-ness about store policies. My latest customer service mishap had to do with the coupons Healthy Pet has out in the mailers and things. Healthy pet newbury park is a great pet store it means a lot to me to be here as it used to be Josh’s pet store where I’ve adopted 3 puppies and now I come to healthy PET’s store.
I Drive 30 miles to get here just to come by dog food I highly recommend this pet store. Great products! knowledgable staff! Great prices! Excellent healthy food selections!
Pet friendly! Yuck! The two bags of food we bought had tons of BUGS in them! Beware of this place! There are much much better pet stores in the NP & TO area!
I will drive the five miles to the big chain pet store over using this store that is less than a mile away.
Tulsa Exotic Pet Veterinarian
If you own an exotic pet in Tulsa such as birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs and other pocket pets, it is good to know where to go when they become sick or injured. Establishing a good working relationship with a Tulsa veterinarian can be a challenge for any pet owner, but is a special challenge for the exotic pet owner. The exotic pet owner must find a vet who is willing to see their pet, knows something about their pet, and has the facilities, equipment and materials to treat their pet. Not all vets see exotics, and not all the ones who say they do have the know how. At All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma we have been taking care of exotic pets and have been accepting exotic pet referrals from other veterinarians for many years.
We have veterinarians and staff who have the experience and the training to take care of your special pet. We receive exotic pet clients from all over Northeast Oklahoma as well as Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. Mark Setser, DVM provides care for all kinds of exotic pets. It is important that you bring your pet in for annual exams. It is very easy to not recognize symptoms of illness in your exotic pet when your pet exhibits them.
Often, exotic pets don’t get to the veterinarian in time and sometimes that can result in a very sad ending. We can give your pet a full exam, monitor your animal’s weight, detect slight onset of disease, give you nutritional, behavioral, and husbandry education, and develop a relationship with you and your exotic pet that may one day save its life.
